Had a 2020 Silverado in with an electrical fault.
The diagram I had didn’t match the harness. Spent an hour chasing the wrong wire.
Pulled up AutoMaster. Same circuit. Colors matched. Found the fault in 20 minutes.
That’s the difference.

“I run a small 2-bay shop here in Phoenix. Been doing this 8 years. Last month a 2019 F-150 rolled in throwing 4 codes off the PCM. Dealer told my customer 1400 just to diag it. Pulled up AutoMaster, found the exact pinout for that VIN range, traced it in like 30 mins. Fixed in 4 hours, charged 850. That ONE job paid AutoMaster for 18 years. Math is math, no other way to look at it.”

“Used ALLDATA for years. Decent for codes and quick lookups but the second you got into a real teardown? Half the time it’d just say ‘remove transmission. Reassembly is reverse of removal.’ Thats not a manual thats a sentence. And they had me locked in 12 months at 400/mo, sir my ass. Got AutoMaster for 47 bucks. The actual factory service manual, same content the dealer tech opens up. Dont know how they pulled it off at that price, dont care. Customer just wants the truck fixed. Shouldve done this 2 years ago.”

Most manual sites charge $15–$70 for one manual.
2021 Subaru Forester. Electrical issue. Haynes only had coverage up to 2016. Official portal is $35 for three days.
Found the wiring diagram on AutoMaster. Took about a minute.
Haven’t had to mess with those other sites since.

I’m a mechanic. OVA format means nothing to me.
Got one of those files last year. Couldn’t open it. Useless.
I work out of my van. Can’t bring a laptop to a driveway job. The app opens in the browser. Phone, tablet, whatever I have.
Had a Honda Pilot at a customer’s house last week. Pulled up the procedure on my phone.
Does what I need it to do.

Work is mostly EVs and hybrids now. Prius, Camry hybrid, had two Model Ys last month.
Was using YouTube for HV procedures. That’s not a good idea when you’re dealing with 400 volts.
Pulled it up for a Model Y HV disconnect. Orange cable torque, interlock loop diagram, full sequence. All there.
Don’t mess around with high voltage. You need the factory procedure. This has it.

Paid $70 for a factory manual PDF for a 2022 F-150. File was 21,000 pages.
Wiring diagrams were buried somewhere in there. No useful index, no page numbers that made sense. Spent close to an hour looking for one connector diagram and gave up.
Search could be cleaner, but I pulled up the wiring diagram on AutoMaster in a couple minutes. Found the connector, traced the circuit, got it out the door.

My shop runs Subaru, Toyota, Honda, Ford, GM. Was paying $20 every 72 hours per manufacturer portal. Toyota TIS, Honda Techinfo, Subaru STIS. Separate logins, separate charges, switching back and forth just to check procedures.
Took me a little while to get used to the layout, but one login for every brand beats paying each portal separately.
Not paying $20 for three days of access to one manufacturer site anymore.

Used to send most electrical jobs to the dealer. No manual, no data, no way to know what I was looking at.
2024 F-150 came in. Customer said the dealer quoted $1,400 just to diag. I pulled up the pinout, ran the circuit, and found the fault. Charged $850. Took about four hours.
Customer said, “You’re my mechanic now.”
Don’t send many electrical jobs out anymore.

Built by a Mechanic Who Got Tired of Buying One Manual at a Time
I built AutoMaster because I got tired of buying one manual at a time.
Every new model meant another Google search, another payment, another download, and another giant PDF I had to dig through while the car was still sitting in the bay.
Sometimes the manual worked. Sometimes it was missing the diagram I needed. Sometimes the file didn’t open at all.
And when I didn’t have the right data, the job went to the dealer.
So we organized 10,000+ factory service manuals into one simple web app.
No OVA files. No CDs. No random folders.
Just one login, a search bar, and the factory data mechanics need: wiring diagrams, torque specs, pinouts, repair procedures, TSBs, diagnostic flowcharts, and EV/hybrid procedures.
The price is $37 because this was built for mechanics, not investors.
No $400/month subscription. No sales team. No office downtown.
Just the manuals, in one place.
Every job you lost was probably yours.
You just didn’t have the manual.

I’ve been buying manuals one at a time for years. I know what they cost.
Saw $37 for the whole year and figured it was too good to be true.
Bought it anyway. Worst case, the guarantee covered me.
F-150 came in the next week. Pulled up the wiring diagram. Everything I needed was there.
Been using it since. Price is still the weirdest part.

Lost money to one of those manual sites last year. Got a file that wouldn’t open, asked for a refund, and got nowhere.
Saw AutoMaster and thought it was going to be the same thing.
Tried it because of the 90-day guarantee.
Had a Silverado come in with an EVAP code. Pulled up the diagnostic flowchart, ran the procedure, found the issue, and closed the job.
Should’ve done it sooner.

Bought a manual last year that came as some weird OVA file. Wouldn’t open on my Mac.
That was the part I was worried about with AutoMaster.
Tried it on my phone first. Opened in the browser, searched the model, pulled up the procedure. No download, no install, no mess.
That alone sold me.
